Notice of Board Meetings

The Panhandle Public Health District Board of Health hereby gives public notice that a public hearing will be held regarding enacting public swimming pool regulations on July 30, 2026 at 8am, in the Platte River room of the Gering Civic Center, at 1050 M Street, Gering. The proposed regulations and other materials are posted below. Questions on the proposed regulations can be sent via email to jdavies@pphd.ne.gov or please call 308-760-6492.

The public is invited to provide testimony in the following ways:
- In-person at the meeting. Such testimony will be limited to 5 minutes. Please bring thirty (30) paper copies of your written testimony to be distributed to the Board.
- By email by midnight the day prior to the meeting;
The public hearing shall be conducted in accordance with Nebraska Open Meetings Act.

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the board of directors of the Panhandle Public Health District will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am in the Platte River Room at Gering Civic Center, 1050 M Street, Gering, NE. This meeting is in accordance the Nebraska Open Meetings Act, Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 84-1407 to 84-1414. A copy of the agenda, which shall be kept continually current, shall be readily available for inspection at the principal office of the District during normal business hours.
